1. 2 Assignment Brief

In this task, we are required to compile Tasks 1, 2, and 3 into a single post, along with an overall reflection. We also need to upload our final design with its caption, including the design rationale.

For the final reflection of the entire 7-week semester, we are required to respond to the following questions:

  • What have I learnt in this module?
  • What did I enjoy the most?
  • What did I not enjoy the most?
  • What have I learnt about myself through this module?
  • What has changed and what has not changed in my learning journey?
  • What are my aspirations?

Final Reflection

  • What have I learnt in this module?

In this module, I learnt how to apply different design principles such as contrast, movement, repetition, and balance when creating a design. I also learnt how to combine these principles together to produce a stronger and more meaningful visual composition rather than just focusing on the appearance of the design.

  • What did I enjoy the most?

What I enjoyed the most was analyzing existing designs and identifying the design principles used in them. This helped me understand how professional designs are structured and how these principles can inspire my own creative work.

  • What did I not enjoy the most?

There was no particular part that I strongly disliked, but sometimes the process of refining the design took a lot of time and required careful adjustments to achieve the desired outcome.

  • What have I learnt about myself through this module?

Through this module, I learnt that I am able to analyze and identify design principles more clearly and apply them in my own design work.

  • What has changed and what has not changed in my learning journey?

What has changed is the way I observe and analyze designs, as I now pay more attention to the details and principles behind them. However, my curiosity and interest in observing designs around me has remained the same.

  • What are my aspirations?

My aspiration is to continue improving my design skills and understanding of design principles so that I can create more effective and meaningful visual designs in the future.
