This week was my first week of the internship, where I started with a briefing and then moved on to doing some simple tasks. It gave me a clearer understanding of how ideas are developed and refined in a real project environment. I learned that initial concepts are rarely final, and continuous feedback is important to improve and shape them into something more suitable for the target users.
Working on the EV modules also helped me think more carefully about how to design content that is appropriate and engaging for children aged 10–12. I had to adjust my ideas multiple times, which showed me the importance of flexibility and being open to changes.
I also realized the importance of clear documentation. In an industry setting, different departments rely on the same documents, so everything must be well-organized, easy to understand, and visually relevant. Unnecessary or unrelated visuals can cause confusion instead of helping communication.
Overall, this week helped me improve my idea development process, communication through visuals, and my understanding of how structured and clear documentation plays an important role in teamwork.
Week 01
This week focused on developing dialogue, planning UI elements, and progressing into UI design for the MR game. I started by working on dialogue writing for different modules, where I learned the importance of keeping the content structured and closely aligned with the intended user experience. This helped strengthen the overall flow and storytelling of the project.
As the week continued, I moved into listing required UI elements and refining the dialogue. This process made me realize how important it is to plan in detail and consider the user’s perspective when designing, as it leads to clearer and more effective UI decisions. Proper preparation before starting the design also made the workflow smoother and more efficient.
I then focused on creating UI assets and designing the interface in Figma. Through this, I understood how consistency, clarity, and the use of good design references contribute to better visual quality and user experience. Maintaining a clean and consistent layout helped make the interface more understandable and polished.
Overall, this week helped me improve my approach to structured content creation, UI planning, and visual design, while reinforcing the importance of preparation, consistency, and user-focused thinking in the design process.
Week 02
This week focused on refining UI design details, improving alignment, and expanding into interaction and audio elements for the MR game. I started by modifying and correcting the UI for both the secondary and primary modules. Through this, I learned how to use design references effectively while still maintaining consistency with the original style. Paying attention to small details, such as proper time formatting and applying a 4px system for spacing and rounded corners, helped improve the clarity and overall polish of the interface. I also became more aware of how important it is for UI elements to stay proportionate and aligned with the storyboard to support a better user experience.
As I continued, I worked on improving UI alignment and refining icons, while also exploring how to create animations for EV and fuel car interactions in Figma. This process reinforced the importance of balance and precision in UI design, showing how alignment plays a key role in making a layout feel complete and professional.
I then focused on finalizing the UI and refining specific features, such as the refilling and charging process, including cost-related elements. This helped me better understand how layout, spacing, and hierarchy can be used to present information more clearly and effectively.
Towards the end of the week, I designed additional screens like “Confirm Exit” and “Back to Lobby,” including different button states such as idle, hover, and click. This gave me a clearer understanding of how interactive elements provide feedback to users and improve usability. At the same time, I began experimenting with sound generation, which introduced me to the basics of creating voice and audio elements to enhance the overall experience.
Week 03
This week focused on expanding both the audio and UI design aspects of the MR game project, particularly through voice generation and interface refinement. I began by experimenting with a new method for AI voice generation while also designing the UI content for the information panel. Through this process, I learned how to generate AI voices more effectively and maintain consistency across different characters and modules using tools such as Audacity and ComfyUI.
As the week progressed, I continued generating voice assets for the antagonist character and completed the voice content for Modules 5 and 6. This helped strengthen my understanding of voice generation workflows, especially in maintaining character identity and ensuring the voices matched the tone and personality required for the project.
Alongside the audio work, I also contributed to designing the Agrotech Hero UI and panel button interface. By using references from Pinterest and refining layouts in Figma, I gained a better understanding of visual hierarchy, button placement, and how consistent UI styling can improve the overall user experience. This process also highlighted the importance of balancing aesthetics and usability within the interface design.
Towards the end of the week, I shifted my focus to the AI Photobooth UI, where I continued refining layouts, spacing, and visual presentation. Through this, I learned how small adjustments in spacing, alignment, and content organization can make an interface feel clearer, more polished, and more user-friendly. Overall, this week allowed me to further develop both my UI design skills and my understanding of integrating audio elements into an interactive digital experience.
