Putting on texture
turn on UV on the top part of blender - Material -image texture -upload image
select face -(A= select all) - select a face (type G to move)
Different function(type of light)**** lighting will not be export to metaverse***
**specular=highlight
**diffuse= base colour
**Ambient=Shadow
point light can change to any light
(class outcome)=light and texture

select face -uv -project from view - adjust (for all faces )
select all- stitch all 4 face together

Things to change and improve
- Recreate the logo to make it more readable
- Create signage
Making the room in metaverse more white and clean
Make the colour more white using shading mode and adjust the emission to make the colour brighter
Searching for ways to create gradient in blander for the logo
How to create word mark for the logo in AI and PS
- Type out the name for logo
- Select word
- Go to "type" on the top menu
- Select "Create Outline"
- Choose "ungroup" for separate letters
- Use white mouse to adjust
- Go to window on the top menu
- select "pathfinder" to unite, minus,and intersect object
Week 12
Gradient
- color ramp = make the color into gradient
- object must have unwrap uv
- go to uv
- add color ramp
- add colour you wanted
- add mapping
- add texture coordinate
ctrl =J (join all together )
- go to shading
- add texture
- go to render
- change eevee to cycle
- then select bake
- after bake select material color with base color
bake the shadow for gallery
- go to edit mode
- select all faces
- go to mesh
- go to normal
- and select flip

Week 09-14 reflection
In weeks 09 to 14, our main focus has been on our final project. During these weeks of creating a metaverse, I encountered many problems with modeling, and the most significant issue I faced was baking the object from Blender with the texture and lighting. Although I managed to eventually bake the material, the lighting did not work as expected during the process. I believe that I will need to polish my skills in baking in Blender. However, I am confident that from week 9 to week 14, I have improved some of my modeling skills in different aspects compared to the beginning of the first week of class. Nevertheless, I have realized that I need to further improve and refine my skills in modeling and baking in Blender.
Overall Week1-14 reflection
Throughout this module in this semester, it is the first time I have used Blender to create 3D models. Even though I have tried other applications for 3D modeling before, I have not actually learned how to use them properly. In this module, I believe the most significant skill I have gained is the ability to create 3D models using Blender. Throughout this semester, I have acquired several skills and knowledge in building models, and I have also learned that it is necessary to bake objects for exporting.
However, in this semester, I feel that there are areas I would like to improve in the future, such as polishing my skills and mastering various aspects of modeling, including building, baking, UV editing, and shading. The most challenging aspect I faced in this semester was baking objects. Additionally, I have gained knowledge about UV editing and understand its importance in the overall process.
Overall, I find 3D modeling to be enjoyable, and it brings me satisfaction to see things built up after going through the entire process.
