gaining reflection on the hero asset

Reflection Week01-07

Over the past seven weeks of studying environment design with Mr. Kannan, I have acquired some knowledge and skills. For instance, I've gained insights into drawing perspectives and understanding their importance. Utilizing grayscale to identify light sources has become an integral part of my skill set. Nevertheless, the most significant takeaway from this period has been learning how to create an environment effectively. Emphasizing the importance of having ample references, Mr. Kannan has guided me through the process of constructing environments, starting from scratch and envisioning the inhabitants, purpose of the building, and the specific stylistic elements. Throughout the course, I have not only honed my fundamental drawing skills but also delved into the comprehensive process of creating an environment, from its inception to completion. Mr. Kannan's guidance has been invaluable, especially during challenging moments, where he provided detailed ideas to alleviate confusion. This experience has equipped me with a holistic understanding of environment design, blending technical skills with conceptual thinking
