In this assignment, creating game assets has challenged me to think both critically and creatively. Designing the game’s character and environment required me to visualize how each element would appear in animation and the overall visual concept.
Throughout this process, I encountered challenges, particularly at the start. I felt uncertain about where to begin, which led to some difficulty getting started. However, after researching and gathering inspiration, I was able to make progress. For the animation, I initially experimented with drawing frame by frame and implementing it in Unity. Unfortunately, the result was not as I expected, as the animation appeared unnatural, almost like a floating ghost.
In the end, I chose to use Procreate to create the animations, moving each scene forward frame by frame. This approach allowed me to create a better one than unity, that fit the visual style I had envisioned for the game.
